अध्याय ३: कृपस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः

Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana

महाधनुर्धर: श्रीमानमित्रगणमर्दन: । पुत्र: पज्चालराजस्य धृष्टद्युम्नो महायशा:,पांचालराजके पुत्र धृष्टद्युम्न महाधनुर्धर, महायशस्वी, तेजस्वी तथा शत्रुसमूहका संहार करनेमें समर्थ थे

mahādhanurdharaḥ śrīmān amitragaṇamardanaḥ | putraḥ pāñcālarājasya dhṛṣṭadyumno mahāyaśāḥ ||

Sañjaya said: Dhrishtadyumna, the illustrious son of the king of the Pāñcālas, was a mighty archer—prosperous and renowned—fully capable of crushing the ranks of enemies.
