Transliteration
padātayo hi saṃrabdhās tyaktajīvitabāndhavāḥ
Translation
Sañjaya said: The foot-soldiers, inflamed with fierce resolve, had cast aside concern for their own lives and for their kinsmen—driven into a desperate, all-or-nothing fury of battle.
