सर्वमासीज्जगत्‌ पूर्ण पार्थनामाड्कितै: शरै: । रुक्मपुड्खैस्तैलधौतै: कर्मारपरिमार्जिति:,अर्जुनके नामसे अंकित, तेलके धोये और कारीगरके साफ किये सुवर्णमय पंखवाले बाणोंद्वारा वहाँका सारा जगत्‌ व्याप्त हो रथा था

Transliteration

sarvam āsīj jagat pūrṇaṃ pārthanāmāṅkitaiḥ śaraiḥ | rukmapuṅkhais tailadhautaiḥ karmāraparimārjitaiḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: “The whole field there seemed filled with arrows bearing Pārtha’s name—arrows with golden fletching, washed clean with oil and polished smooth by the smith—so thickly did Arjuna’s shafts spread through the battle.”
