Sañjaya said: “But then, closing in on us again—unyielding and now having found their mark—the Pāṇḍavas, shaking their bows, began to pour upon our ranks a roaring rain of arrows.”

The verse highlights the martial ethic of steadfastness and precision in battle: once the Pāṇḍavas have ‘found their mark’ (labdhalakṣyāḥ), they press the attack without hesitation. Ethically, it reflects kṣatriya-dharma as disciplined resolve—skill and determination directed toward a chosen objective.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Pāṇḍavas have advanced again against the Kaurava side. They are described as formidable and accurate, brandishing their bows and unleashing a loud, dense shower of arrows upon the opposing forces.
