Chapter 23: Śakuni Reports, Kaurava Advance, and Arjuna’s Penetration of the Host
ते समन्तान्महाराज परिवार्य युधिष्ठिरम् । अदृश्यं सायकैश्षक्रुमेंघा इव दिवाकरम्,महाराज! जैसे बादल सूर्यको ढक देते हैं, उसी प्रकार उन रथियोंने युधिष्ठिरको चारों ओरसे घेरकर अपने बाणोंद्वारा उन्हें अदृश्य कर दिया
te samantān mahārāja parivārya yudhiṣṭhiram | adṛśyaṃ sāyakaiḥ śakra-meghā iva divākaram ||
Sañjaya said: O King, those warriors surrounded Yudhiṣṭhira on every side and, with a dense shower of arrows, made him vanish from sight—just as thunderclouds veil the sun.
