Śālva’s Elephant Assault and the Counterstroke (शाल्वस्य नागारूढाभ्यवहारः)

अद्य ज्ञास्यति भीमस्य बल॑ घोर महात्मन: । हते दुर्योधने युद्धे शक्रेणेवासुरे बले,'जैसे इन्द्रने असुरोंकी सेनाका संहार किया था, उसी प्रकार युद्धमें भीमसेनके हाथसे दुर्योधनके मारे जानेपर आज धृतराष्ट्रको यह ज्ञात हो जायगा कि “महामनस्वी भीमका बल कैसा भयंकर है!”
Translation
Sañjaya said: “Today, Dhritarashtra will learn how dreadful is the strength of Bhīma, that great-souled hero. When Duryodhana is slain in battle by Bhīmasena’s hand, it will be as when Indra destroyed the host of the asuras.”
