स तै: परिवृतः शूर: सर्वतो$तिरथैर्भुशम् व्यचरत् समरे राजन् दर्शयन्नस्त्रलाघवम्,राजन्! उन अतिरथी वीरोंद्वारा सब ओरसे घिरे हुए धृष्टद्युम्म अपनी अस्त्रसंचालनकी फुर्ती दिखाते हुए समरभूमिमें विचरने लगे
sa taiḥ parivṛtaḥ śūraḥ sarvato 'tirathair bhuśam vyacarat samare rājan darśayann astralāghavam
Sañjaya said: O King, though surrounded on every side by mighty atirathas, the heroic Dhṛṣṭadyumna ranged over the battlefield, displaying swift mastery in the handling of weapons—disciplined prowess amid the crush of war.
