Śalya–Bhīma Gadā-saṃnipāta and Śalya’s Bāṇa-jāla against Yudhiṣṭhira

Book 9, Chapter 11

गौतम: पुनराचार्यों धृष्टद्युम्मनमयोधयत्‌

gautamaḥ punar ācāryo dhṛṣṭadyumnam ayodhayat

Sañjaya said: Then Gautama, the venerable teacher, once again engaged Dhṛṣṭadyumna in battle. The scene shows how, in the chaos of war, even revered elders are driven by duty to take up arms and confront formidable foes without hesitation.
