दुर्गमां पदवीं गत्वा विरराज जनक्षये

durgamāṁ padavīṁ gatvā virarāja janakṣaye

Having reached a difficult, hard-to-traverse path, he shone forth amid the slaughter of men—standing out in the devastation of battle as the destruction of lives unfolded.
