शिबिरात् स्वाद् गृहीत्वा स रथस्य पदमच्युत:,(द्रोणपुत्रगतेनाशु ययौ मार्गेण भारत ।) भरतनन्दन! छावनीसे बाहर निकलकर अपनी टेकसे न टलनेवाले भीमसेन अश्वृत्थामाके रथका चिह्न देखते हुए उसी मार्गसे शीघ्रतापूर्वक आगे बढ़े, जिससे द्रोणपुत्र अश्व॒त्थामा गया था
Translation
O scion of Bharata! Leaving the camp, Bhīmasena—unyielding in his resolve—caught sight of the mark of Aśvatthāman’s chariot (Droṇa’s son) and hastened onward by the very road Aśvatthāman had taken.
