Educational Q&A

The colophon highlights Bhīma’s wrath as a morally charged reaction to adharma. In the Mahābhārata’s ethical frame, anger is not praised in itself, but it can function as a sign of violated dharma and a catalyst that demands accountability for injustice.

This line is a chapter-ending colophon stating that the seventy-second chapter—focused on Bhīmasena’s anger—has concluded within the Dyūta episode of the Sabhā Parva, marking the close of that thematic unit and preparing the reader for the next development in the dice-game aftermath.
