उपपन्नं च पाज्चालि तवेदं वृत्तमीदृशम्‌ । यत्‌ कृच्छूमपि सम्प्राप्ता धर्ममेवान्ववेक्षसे,पांचालराजकुमारी! तुम्हारा यह आचार-व्यवहार तुम्हारे योग्य ही है; क्योंकि भारी संकटमें पड़कर भी तुम धर्मकी ओर ही देख रही हो

upapannaṃ ca pāñcāli tavedaṃ vṛttam īdṛśam | yat kṛcchram api samprāptā dharmam evānvavekṣase ||

Bhīṣma said: “O Pāñcālī, this conduct of yours is wholly fitting for you. For even when you have fallen into severe distress, you still keep your gaze fixed upon dharma.”
