Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 68 — Pāṇḍavānāṃ Vanavāsa-prasthānaḥ; Duḥśāsana-nindā; Pāṇḍava-pratijñāḥ

इयं च कीर्तिता कृष्णा सौबलेन पणार्थिना । एतत्‌ सर्व विचार्याहं मन्ये न विजितामिमाम्‌,“सब दाँवोंको जीतनेकी इच्छावाले सुबलपुत्र शकुनिने ही द्रौपदीको दाँवपर लगानेकी बात उठायी है। इन सब बातोंपर विचार करके मैं ट्रुपदकुमारी कृष्णाको जीती हुई नहीं मानता”

And it was Śakuni, son of Subala, eager to win every stake, who raised the proposal to set Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) as the wager. Having weighed all these matters, I hold that Kṛṣṇā, daughter of Drupada, has not been won.
