स राजगृहमासाद्य कुबेरभवनोपमम्‌ | अभ्यागच्छत धर्मात्मा धर्मपुत्रं युधिष्ठिरम्‌,कुबेरके भवनके समान सुशोभित राजमहलमें जाकर धर्मात्मा विदुर धर्मपुत्र युधिष्ठिरसे मिले। सत्यवादी महात्मा अजमीढनन्दन अजातशत्रु राजा युधिष्ठिरने विदुरजीका यथावत्‌ आदर-सत्कार करके उनसे पुत्रसहित धृतराष्ट्रकी कुशल पूछी

sa rājagṛham āsādya kuberabhavanopamam | abhyāgacchat dharmātmā dharmaputraṁ yudhiṣṭhiram ||

Having reached the royal palace—splendid like the mansion of Kubera—the righteous Vidura went to meet Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Dharma. Yudhiṣṭhira, truthful and noble, received Vidura with due honor and hospitality, and then inquired after the welfare of Dhṛtarāṣṭra and his sons—thus upholding the ethics of respect, kinship, and proper conduct even amid political strain.
