वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमुकक्‍्त्वा विदुरं धर्मराज: प्रायात्रिकं सर्वमाज्ञाप्य तूर्णम्‌ । प्रायाच्छवो भूते सगण: सानुयात्र: सह स्त्रीभिद्रौपदीमादि कृत्वा,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! विदुरसे ऐसा कहकर धर्मराज युधिष्िरने तुरंत ही यात्राकी सारी तैयारी करनेके लिये आज्ञा दे दी। फिर सबेरा होनेपर उन्होंने अपने भाई- बन्धुओं, सेवकों तथा द्रौपदी आदि स्त्रियोंके साथ हस्तिनापुरकी यात्रा की

evam uktvā viduraṃ dharmarājaḥ prāyātrikaṃ sarvam ājñāpya tūṛṇam |

prāyāc chavo bhūte sagaṇaḥ sānu yātraḥ saha strībhir draupadīm ādi kṛtvā ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Having spoken thus to Vidura, Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira) swiftly ordered that all preparations for the journey be made. Then, when morning came, he set out on the road—accompanied by his group and attendants, with his followers in train—taking Draupadī and the other women along, and proceeded toward Hastināpura.
