अक्षदेवन-प्रवर्तनम् | Commencement of the Dice Game

परशुरामजीके साथ वेदके पारंगत दूसरे विद्वान्‌ महर्षियोंने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ राजा युधिष्ठिरका अभिषेक किया

Transliteration

Paraśurāmajīke sātha vedake pāraṅgata dūsare vidvān maharṣiyoṃne baṛī prasannatāke sātha rājā Yudhiṣṭhirakā abhiṣeka kiyā.

Translation

Duryodhana said: Along with Paraśurāma, other learned great seers—masters of the Vedas—joyfully performed the consecration of King Yudhiṣṭhira. The scene underscores how royal authority is publicly affirmed through sacred learning and ritual approval, presenting Yudhiṣṭhira’s kingship as sanctioned by dharma and the spiritual elite.
