चोलपाण्ड्यावपि द्वारं न लेभाते ह्ुपस्थितौ । चोल और पाण्ड्यदेशोंके नरेश चमकीले मणि-रत्न, सुवर्ण तथा महीन वस्त्र लेकर उपस्थित हुए थे; परंतु उन्हें भी भीतर जानेके लिये रास्ता नहीं मिला

Transliteration

colapāṇḍyāv api dvāraṃ na lebhāte hy upasthitau |

Translation

Duryodhana said: “Even the kings of the Chola and Pāṇḍya lands, though they had arrived and were standing there, could not obtain an entry at the door.”
