प्राग्ज्योतिषाधिप: शूरो म्लेच्छानामधिपो बली । यवनै: सहितो राजा भगदत्तो महारथ:,प्राग्ज्योतिषपुरके अधिपति तथा म्लेच्छोंके स्वामी शूरवीर एवं बलवान् महारथी राजा भगदत्त यवनोंके साथ पधारे थे और वायुके समान वेगवाले अच्छी जातिके शीघ्रगामी घोड़े तथा सब प्रकारकी भेंट-सामग्री लेकर राजद्दवारपर खड़े थे। (अधिक भीड़के कारण) उनका प्रवेश भी रोक दिया गया था
prāgjyotiṣādhipaḥ śūro mlecchānām adhipo balī | yavanaiḥ sahito rājā bhagadatto mahārathaḥ ||
Duryodhana said: “Bhagadatta, the mighty king—lord of Prāgjyotiṣa, a valiant ruler and powerful overlord of the Mlecchas—has arrived accompanied by Yavanas. A great chariot-warrior, he stands at the royal gate with swift, well-bred horses and every kind of tribute; yet, because of the heavy crowd, even his entry has been held back.”
