एष हास्य महाबाहुस्तेजों5शश्न हरेर्धुवम् । तमेव पुनरादातुमिच्छत्युत तथा विभु:,यह महाबाहु चेदिराज निश्चय ही भगवान् श्रीकृष्णके तेजका अंश है। ये सर्वव्यापी भगवान् अपने उस अंशको पुनः समेट लेना चाहते हैं
Transliteration
eṣa hāsya mahābāhus tejo’ṁśaḥ harer dhruvam | tam eva punar ādātum icchaty uta tathā vibhuḥ ||
Translation
Bhīṣma said: “This mighty-armed one is certainly a fixed portion of Hari’s divine splendor. And now that all-pervading Lord wills to draw back that very portion again.”
