नूनमेतत्‌ समादातु पुनरिच्छत्यधोक्षज: । यदस्य शिशुपालस्य तेजस्तिष्ठति भारत,“भारत! अवश्य ही भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण इस शिशुपालके भीतर उनका जो तेज है, उसे पुनः समेट लेना चाहते हैं

nūnam etat samādātu punar icchaty adhokṣajaḥ | yad asya śiśupālasya tejas tiṣṭhati bhārata ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “O Bhārata, surely the Lord Adhokṣaja (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) now wishes to gather back into Himself that divine radiance which abides within Śiśupāla.”
