पर्वतश्न महाभागो मार्कण्डेयो महामुनि: । पवित्रपाणि: सावर्णो भालुकिर्गालवस्तथा
parvataśna mahābhāgo mārkaṇḍeyo mahāmuniḥ | pavitrapāṇiḥ sāvarṇo bhālukir gālavas tathā ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “There was Parvataśna; the greatly fortunate and mighty sage Mārkaṇḍeya; Pavitrapāṇi; Sāvarṇa; Bhāluki; and Gālava as well.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
