वेदवेदाड्भरविज्ञानं बल॑ चाभ्यधिकं तथा । नृणां लोके हि को<न्यो<स्ति विशिष्ट: केशवादृते,इनमें वेद-वेदांगोंका ज्ञान तो है ही, बल भी सबसे अधिक है। श्रीकृष्णके सिवा संसारके मनुष्योंमें दूसरा कौन सबसे बढ़कर है?
veda-vedāṅga-bhara-vijñānaṃ balaṃ cābhyadhikaṃ tathā | nṛṇāṃ loke hi ko 'nyo 'sti viśiṣṭaḥ keśavād ṛte ||
He possesses the weighty mastery of the Vedas and the Vedāṅgas, and his strength too is surpassing. Indeed, among men in this world, who else is pre-eminent—apart from Keśava (Kṛṣṇa)?
भीष्म उवाच
True pre-eminence is measured by the union of śāstric mastery (Vedas and Vedāṅgas) and unsurpassed strength, and Bhīṣma identifies Kṛṣṇa as uniquely embodying this ideal—implying that rightful authority and leadership rest on both wisdom and power guided by dharma.
In the assembly-context of the Sabha Parva, Bhīṣma speaks in praise of Kṛṣṇa, asserting that no other person equals him, emphasizing Kṛṣṇa’s comprehensive learning and superior might to establish his unmatched stature among men.
