Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection
दीयतां दीयतामेषां भुज्यतां भुज्यतामिति । एवम्प्रकारा: संजल्पा: श्रूयन्ते स्मात्र नित्यश:,“इनको दीजिये, इन्हें परोसिये, भोजन कीजिये, भोजन कीजिये” इसी प्रकारके शब्द वहाँ प्रतिदिन कानोंमें पड़ते थे
dīyatāṃ dīyatām eṣāṃ bhujyatāṃ bhujyatām iti | evamprakārāḥ saṃjalpāḥ śrūyante sma atra nityaśaḥ |
Vaiśampāyana said: “Give—give to these; serve—serve; eat—eat!” Such calls and exchanges of this kind were heard there every day without fail.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
