अत---#क्र+ एकविशो< ध्याय: श्रीकृष्णद्वारा मगधकी राजधानीकी प्रशंसा, चैत्यक पर्वतशिखर और नगाडोंको तोड़-फोड़-कर तीनोंका नगर एवं राजभवनमें प्रवेश तथा श्रीकृष्ण और जरासंधका संवाद वायुदेव उवाच एष पार्थ महान् भाति पशुमान् नित्यमम्बुमान् | निरामय: सुवेश्माढ्यो निवेशो मागध: शुभ:,श्रीकृष्ण बोले--कुन्तीनन्दन! देखो, यह मगध-देशकी सुन्दर एवं विशाल राजधानी कैसी शोभा पा रही है। यहाँ पशुओंकी अधिकता है। जलकी भी सदा पूर्ण सुविधा रहती है। यहाँ रोग-व्याधिका प्रकोप नहीं होता। सुन्दर महलोंसे भरा-पूरा यह नगर बड़ा मनोहर प्रतीत होता है
vāyudeva uvāca | eṣa pārtha mahān bhāti paśumān nityam ambumān | nirāmayaḥ suveśmāḍhyo niveśo māgadhaḥ śubhaḥ ||
Vāyu said: “O Pārtha, behold how this great city of Magadha shines—prosperous in cattle, always well supplied with water, free from disease, and filled with fine mansions. This settlement is auspicious and pleasing to the eye.”
