नारद उवाच
That dharma is expressed through respectful completion of sacred or public occasions by honoring brāhmaṇas/learned guests with appropriate gifts (dāna), ensuring gratitude, social harmony, and the integrity of the rite.
As the gathering is about to disperse, the host distributes various forms of wealth to the brāhmaṇas who have come from different regions, thereby formally concluding the occasion with generosity.
