“O best of craftsmen, Daitya (Maya), if you wish to do something dear to me, then for Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira build here such a royal assembly hall as you deem fitting.”
अजुन उवाच
A worthy ‘dear act’ is framed as constructive service that supports dharmic rule: using skill and resources to strengthen righteous governance, while respecting expert judgment in execution.
Maya, famed for extraordinary craftsmanship, is addressed and asked to build an assembly hall for Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira—an event that leads to the celebrated (and later consequential) royal sabhā.
