तव कृष्ण प्रसादेन पाण्डवो5यं धनंजय: । जिगायाभिमुख: शत्रून्ू न चासीद् विमुख: क्वचित्
tava kṛṣṇa prasādena pāṇḍavo ’yaṃ dhanaṃjayaḥ | jigāyābhimukhaḥ śatrūn na cāsīd vimukhaḥ kvacit ||
“O Krishna, by your gracious favor this Pandava, Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), has conquered his enemies while ever facing them in battle; never at any time did he turn away from the fight.”
संयज उवाच
Victory and steadfastness in righteous struggle are attributed to Krishna’s prasāda (grace) and to the warrior’s unwavering resolve; the verse emphasizes humility and recognition of higher guidance rather than pride in personal achievement.
