संन्यवर्तत तं भीमो वार्यमाण: शितै: शरै: । शकुनिस्तस्य राजेन्द्र वामपाश्वे स्तनान्तरे
sannyavartata taṃ bhīmo vāryamāṇaḥ śitaiḥ śaraiḥ | śakunistasya rājendra vāmapārśve stanāntare
Sañjaya said: Though checked by sharp arrows, Bhīma did not yield; he turned back toward the fight. Then Śakuni, O king, struck him on the left side, between the breast and the flank.
