कर्णवधोत्तरं शल्य-दुर्योधनसंवादः

धिग्गाण्डीवं धिक् च ते बाहुवीर्य- मसंख्येयान् बाणगणांश्व धिक् ते । धिक् ते केतुं केसरिण: सुतस्य कृशानुदत्तं च रथं च धिक् ते,“धिक्कार है तुम्हारे इस गाण्डीव धनुषको, धिक्कार है तुम्हारी भुजाओंके पराक्रमको, थिककार है तुम्हारे इन असंख्य बाणोंको, धिक्कार है हनुमानजीके द्वारा उपलक्षित तुम्हारी इस ध्वजाको तथा धिक्कार है अग्निदेवके दिये हुए इस रथको”

dhig gāṇḍīvaṃ dhik ca te bāhuvīryam asaṅkhyeyān bāṇagaṇāṃś ca dhik te |
dhik te ketuṃ kesariṇaḥ sutasya kṛśānudattaṃ ca rathaṃ ca dhik te ||
Sañjaya said: “Shame on the Gāṇḍīva bow! Shame on your arm-born prowess! Shame on your countless volleys of arrows! Shame on your banner marked by Hanumān, the son of the lion-like one, and shame on the chariot granted by Agni!”
