Sañjaya said: Seeing the extraordinary prowess of your son—of that great-souled warrior—fighters on the battlefield were struck with amazement; even the assembled hosts of Siddhas, Yakṣas, and Apsarases looked on in wonder.

The verse highlights how exceptional valor can inspire universal awe—even among celestial beings—while implicitly reminding the listener that such prowess is displayed within the morally weighty arena of war, where power and righteousness (dharma) must be carefully weighed.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that, upon witnessing the battlefield exploits of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s son, the warriors present—and even hosts of Siddhas, Yakṣas, and Apsarases—were astonished by his prowess.
