Arjuna Breaks the Encirclement; Bhīma Reinforces
समाद्रवन्ति पञ्चाला धार्तराष्ट्रांस्तरस्विन: । विमृद्नन्ति नरव्याप्रा भीमसेनबलाश्रयात्
saṃādravanti pañcālā dhārtarāṣṭrāṃs tarasvinaḥ | vimṛdnanti naravyāprā bhīmasenabalāśrayāt ||
Sañjaya said: The impetuous Pāñcālas rush straight at the Dhārtarāṣṭras. Relying on the strength of Bhīmasena, those man-lions—fierce in their exertion—crush the enemy ranks in the press of battle.
