Sañjaya said: “O scorcher of foes, I think Karṇa will surely advance against the Pāñcālas. O Pārtha, bull among the Bharatas, I am telling you this as welcome news: Dharmaputra, the illustrious king Yudhiṣṭhira, is safe—for he is returning toward the front of the army, with the mighty-armed Bhīmasena.”

Even amid violent uncertainty, truthful reporting and reassurance serve dharma: Sañjaya balances strategic assessment (Karṇa’s likely move) with ethically significant news (Yudhiṣṭhira’s safety), sustaining morale and right action without exaggeration.
Sañjaya predicts that Karṇa will move to attack the Pāñcālas and then conveys comforting information to Arjuna: Yudhiṣṭhira is unharmed and is returning toward the army’s front together with Bhīma.
