Arjuna Breaks the Encirclement; Bhīma Reinforces
tvāṁ ca dṛṣṭvātisaṁrabdhaṁ karṇa ca bharatarṣabha | asau duryodhanaḥ kruddho nottaraṁ pratipadyate ||
Sañjaya said: “O bull among the Bharatas, seeing you and Karṇa inflamed with extreme fury, that wrathful Duryodhana will find no reply—his anger will leave him without an answer.”

Uncontrolled anger clouds judgment and speech: even a powerful leader like Duryodhana, when seized by wrath, becomes incapable of a reasoned response. The verse highlights the ethical need for self-mastery amid conflict.
Sañjaya describes to Dhṛtarāṣṭra how the sight of the addressed warrior and Karṇa, both burning with fury, leaves Duryodhana so enraged that he cannot formulate any reply—his emotion overwhelms his capacity to respond.
