Arjuna Breaks the Encirclement; Bhīma Reinforces
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ााभारत कर्णपर्वमें अश्वत्थामाका पलायनविषयक उनसठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ ॥/ ५९ ॥। हि 7 छा हर षष्टितमो< ध्याय: श्रीकृष्णका अर्जुनसे दुर्योधन और कर्णके पराक्रमका वर्णन करके कर्णको मारनेके लिये अर्जुनको उत्साहित करना तथा भीमसेनके दुष्कर पराक्रमका वर्णन करना संजय उवाच एतस्मिन्नन्तरे कृष्ण: पार्थ वचनमत्रवीत् । दर्शयन्निव कौन्तेयं धर्मराजं युधिष्ठिरम्
sañjaya uvāca | etasminn antare kṛṣṇaḥ pārtha vacanam abravīt | darśayann iva kaunteyaṃ dharmarājaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram |
Sañjaya said: “O King, at that very moment Kṛṣṇa spoke these words to Pārtha (Arjuna), as though making him behold Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira—reminding him of righteous duty and the living stake of the war—so as to steady his resolve for what must be done.”
