युधिष्ठिरस्य धनंजय-प्रति गर्हा
Yudhiṣṭhira’s Reproach to Dhanaṃjaya
अथापयातं राजानं मत्वान्वीयुस्तमच्युतम् । चेदिपाण्डवपाञ्चाला: सात्यकिश्न महारथ:
athāpayātaṁ rājānaṁ matvānvīyus tam acyutam | cedipāṇḍavapāñcālāḥ sātyakiś ca mahārathāḥ ||
Sañjaya said: Thinking that the king had set out, they followed that infallible one (Kṛṣṇa). The Cedis, the Pāṇḍavas, and the Pāñcālas—along with Sātyaki and other great chariot-warriors—moved in his wake. The verse underscores how, in the press of war, decisive leadership and trust in a righteous guide draw allied forces into coordinated action.
