अर्जुनस्य द्रोणिप्रतिघातः कर्णोपसर्पणं च

त एनं विविधै: शस्त्रै: शरधाराभिरेव च । अभ्यवर्षन् विमर्दन्तं प्रावृषीवाम्बुदा गिरिम्
Translation
They showered him with diverse weapons and with torrents of arrows; as monsoon clouds pour streaming waters upon a mountain, so did they rain down their arms upon Karṇa as he crushed the hosts.
