Transliteration

cācāra maṇḍalānyeva gatapratyāgatāni ca |

Translation

Sanjaya said: He moved in circling maneuvers, advancing and withdrawing in quick alternation. Having cut Satyaki’s shield, marked with hundreds of star-emblems, Vinda began to shift his feints—going and returning—with the practiced footwork of a seasoned warrior.
