परुषाण्युच्यमानांश्व यथा पार्थनुपेक्षसे । तस्यानुबन्ध: प्राप्तस्त्वां पुत्राणां राज्यकामुक,पुत्रोंकोी राज्य दिलानेकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाले महाराज! कुन्तीके पुत्रोंको कठोर बातें (गालियाँ) सुनायी जाती थीं और आप उनकी उपेक्षा करते थे। आज उसी अन्यायका फल आपको प्राप्त हुआ है
Translation
Sañjaya said: “O King, you who longed to secure the kingdom for your sons: when harsh and insulting words were hurled at Kuntī’s sons, you looked on with indifference. Today the consequence of that injustice has come upon you.”
