Outer signs—radiance, composure, and the calm favor of a righteous guide—are presented as indicators of inner alignment and divine support. The verse underscores that confidence grounded in dharma and guided by Kṛṣṇa is not mere bravado but a moral and spiritual assurance.
Sañjaya reports an auspicious assessment of Arjuna’s prospects in the ongoing battle: Arjuna’s appearance and the evident serenity of Kṛṣṇa are taken as clear portents that Arjuna will win a great victory in this encounter.
