Sañjaya said: Then Śrī Kṛṣṇa—the foremost among men, the lion among heroes—himself leading those who were fully prepared, informed Pārtha (Arjuna), who had completed his prescribed daily rites and was seated, that the chariot was ready.

Even amid imminent warfare, dharma is upheld through discipline and prescribed duty (nitya-karma). Kṛṣṇa’s conduct models ethical leadership: action is undertaken with preparedness, order, and respect for sacred obligations rather than impulsiveness.
After ensuring readiness, Kṛṣṇa approaches Arjuna—who has completed his daily rites and is seated—and announces that the chariot is prepared, signaling that the time for entering battle has arrived.
