सहस्रनेत्रपादाय नमो5संख्येयकर्मणे । विश्वके स्वामी और महापुरुषोंके पालक भगवान् शिवको नमस्कार है, जिनके सहस्रों सिर और सहसों भुजाएँ हैं, जो मृत्युस्वरूप हैं, जिनके नेत्र और पैर भी सहस्रोंकी संख्यामें हैं तथा जिनके कर्म असंख्य हैं, उन भगवान् शिवको नमस्कार है
Translation
Homage to Bhagavān Śiva, Lord of the universe and guardian of the great ones—he of a thousand heads and a thousand arms, the very form of Death; whose eyes and feet too are by the thousand, and whose deeds are beyond all counting. Homage to that Śiva.
