य॑ प्रपद्यन्ति विद्वांस: सूक्ष्माध्यात्मपदैषिण: । तमजं कारणात्मानं जग्मतु: शरणं भवम्‌,सूक्ष्म अध्यात्मपदकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाले विद्वान्‌ जिनकी शरण लेते हैं, उन्हीं कारणस्वरूप अजन्मा भगवान्‌ शिवकी शरणमें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन भी गये

ye prapadyanti vidvāṁsaḥ sūkṣmādhyātmapadaiṣiṇaḥ | tam ajaṁ kāraṇātmānaṁ jagmatuḥ śaraṇaṁ bhavam ||

Sanjaya said: Those learned seekers who long for the subtle goal of inner realization take refuge in that unborn Lord, the very Self of causality. In the same way, Krishna and Arjuna too went for refuge to Bhava (Shiva).
