Sañjaya said: “My conviction is this: if Arjuna, Kuntī’s son, is united with the supremely wise Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), he could even destroy the three worlds together with their gods.”

The verse teaches that immense power becomes decisive when aligned with higher wisdom: Arjuna’s martial capability, when united with Kṛṣṇa’s discerning guidance, is portrayed as capable of overcoming even cosmic opposition. Ethically, it implies that force is most legitimate and effective when directed by dharma-informed counsel rather than ego or rage.
Sañjaya, reporting the battlefield events to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, expresses his assessment of Arjuna’s invincibility when accompanied by Kṛṣṇa. The statement heightens the dramatic tension of Droṇa Parva by emphasizing the Pandava side’s formidable strength through the Arjuna–Kṛṣṇa partnership.
