धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणरथारोহণं सात्यकेः प्रतिरक्षणं च | Dhrishtadyumna Boards Droṇa’s Chariot; Sātyaki’s Counter-Protection

ततः स्वशिबिरं प्राप्तौ हतानन्दं हतत्विषम्‌ । वासुदेवोर<्'्जुनश्वैव कृत्वा कर्म सुदुष्करम्‌,फिर श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन जो अत्यन्त दुष्कर कर्म करके आ रहे थे, अपने शिविरके निकट आ पहुँचे। उस समय वह शिविर आनन्दशून्य और श्रीहीन दिखायी देता था

tataḥ svaśibiraṃ prāptau hatānandaṃ hatatviṣam | vāsudevorjunaś caiva kṛtvā karma suduṣkaram ||

Sañjaya said: Then Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) and Arjuna, having accomplished a deed exceedingly difficult to perform, came back near their own camp. At that time the camp appeared bereft of joy and stripped of its former splendor.
