व्यास उवाच प्रादुरासीत्‌ ततः पुत्र: सृज्जयस्याद्भुतप्रभ: । प्रसन्नेनर्षिणा दत्त: कुबेरतनयोपम:,व्यासजी कहते हैं--युधिष्ठि!! नारदजीके इतना कहते ही सूंजयका अदभुत कान्तिमान्‌ पुत्र वहाँ प्रकट हो गया। उसे ऋषिने प्रसन्न होकर राजाको दिया था। वह देखनेमें कुबेरके पुत्रके समान जान पड़ता था

Transliteration

vyāsa uvāca prādurāsīt tataḥ putraḥ sṛñjayasya adbhuta-prabhaḥ | prasannena ṛṣiṇā dattaḥ kubera-tanayopamaḥ ||

Translation

Vyāsa said: Then there appeared the wondrously radiant son of Sṛñjaya. Bestowed by a pleased sage, he had been given to the king; in appearance he seemed like the son of Kubera.
