द्रोणेन दुर्योधनस्य कवचबन्धनम् — Drona’s Mantra-Bound Armor for Duryodhana
एह्ोहि वसुके क्षिप्रं क्षरैभ्य: काड्क्षितं पय: । ततो दास्यामि भद्रं ते अन्नं यस्य यथेप्सितम्,“वसुधे! तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। आओ-आओ., इन प्रजाजनोंके लिये शीघ्र ही मनोवांछित दूधकी धारा बहाओ। तब मैं जिसका जैसा अभीष्ट अन्न है, उसे वैसा दे सकूँगा”
eho hi vasuke kṣipraṁ kṣarai bhyaḥ kāṅkṣitaṁ payaḥ | tato dāsyāmi bhadraṁ te annaṁ yasya yathepsitam ||
Nārada said: “Come, O Vasudhā—quickly let the longed-for stream of milk flow forth for these people. Then, may it be well with you, I shall distribute to each person the food he desires.”
नारद उवाच
Resources and extraordinary capacities should be directed toward loka-saṅgraha—supporting the many. The blessing “bhadraṁ te” frames the act as dharmic: abundance is invoked and distributed for others’ well-being, not for ego or hoarding.
Nārada addresses Vasuki and urges him to quickly cause a desired flow of milk for the people; afterward Nārada intends to distribute to each person the kind of food each wishes, indicating a scene of providing sustenance to a gathered populace.
