प्रादान्निहत्य रक्षांसि पितृदेवेभ्य ईश्वर: । जनस्थानमें राक्षसोंने जो पितरों और देवताओंकी पूजा-अर्चा नष्ट कर दी थी, उसे भगवान् श्रीरामने राक्षसोंको मारकर पुनः प्रचलित किया और पितरोंको श्राद्धका तथा देवताओंको यज्ञका भाग दिया
prādān nihatyā rākṣāṁsi pitṛdevebhya īśvaraḥ |
Nārada said: The Lord, having slain the rākṣasas, restored what had been disrupted—he re-established the rightful offerings to the Pitṛs and the Devas, ensuring that ancestral śrāddha rites and the gods’ share in yajña were again properly given in accordance with dharma.
नारद उवाच
When forces that obstruct sacred duties and communal religious life arise, the righteous ruler (or divine protector) is justified in removing them so that rightful worship, offerings, and dharmic order are restored.
Nārada describes how the Lord killed the rākṣasas and thereby reinstated proper ritual shares—offerings to the ancestors (Pitṛs) and sacrifices to the gods (Devas)—which had been disrupted.
