शरैरग्निसमस्पर्शैराकर्णसमचोदितै: । स गाढविद्धो व्यथितो रथोपस्थ उपाविशत्‌

Transliteration

śarair agni-samasparśair ākarṇa-sama-coditaiḥ | sa gāḍha-viddho vyathito rathopastha upāviśat ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: Struck by arrows whose touch was like fire, drawn to the ear and loosed with full force, he was deeply pierced and, in pain, sank down to sit upon the floor of his chariot.
