वरासिना कर्णपक्षान् जघान दश पञ्च च | तदनन्तर भीमसेनने गरुड़की भाँति अपने रथसे उछलकर उत्तम खड्गद्वारा कर्णपक्षके पंद्रह योद्धाओंको मार डाला
sañjaya uvāca | varāsinā karṇapakṣān jaghāna daśa pañca ca | tadanantaraṃ bhīmasenena garuḍakī bhānti ātmanaḥ rathāt utplutya uttama-khaḍgena karṇapakṣasya pañcadaśa yoddhān māritāḥ |
Sanjaya said: With his excellent weapon he struck down fifteen warriors belonging to Karna’s division. Thereafter Bhimasena, leaping from his chariot like Garuda, slew fifteen more of Karna’s fighters with a superb sword.
