evam uktaḥ tadā pārthaḥ keśavena mahātmanā | bhagadattaṃ śitaiḥ bāṇaiḥ sahasā samavākirat ||
Sañjaya said: Thus addressed at that moment by the great-souled Keśava, Pārtha (Arjuna), son of Kuntī, immediately showered Bhagadatta with a swift rain of sharp arrows.
संजय उवाच
Right counsel (especially from a wise, dharmic guide) should lead to timely, focused action; in a righteous battle, hesitation gives way to disciplined execution of duty.
After Keśava speaks to him, Arjuna immediately responds by unleashing a rapid volley of sharp arrows at Bhagadatta, intensifying the combat.
